The Tennessee ConserVOLiance

Since no one has bothered to question this I will have to do it. This could be a little dated, but it leaves me shaking my head when I think about it. How could someone that has done so much to hurt the state be given so much power?

I am talking about Tre Hargett, former Rep. of TN House District 97 and all around NON-conservative being nominated to serve as director of the Tennessee Regulatory Authority.

The high points of Tre’s political career include voting for the highest tax hike in state history, stealing campaign literature of two of his opponents for District 97 and resigning then not resigning from office to become a lobbyist. He was to take the lobbyist position with a year left in his term and this was after he tried to pass a bill that would not allow legislators to become lobbyists within 18 months of leaving office. Make sense to anyone???

Does this sound like someone that Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey should trust? Does this sound like someone that Tennesseans should trust? I am sure the answer to both of those is a resounding NO. Now answer the question of why he was chosen to run such an important office in TN. There is no telling just how bad he sold out the citizens of his district and TN as well to garner the favor that he has. Just what did Tre do for you Lt. Gov. Ramsey?
