Kent Greenough is running against Monty Lankford in the Tn 4th Congressional District Republican Primary. Kent is a Marine Veteran as is his wife and his daughter is a Naval Veteran. Monty is not a Veteran so maybe these words he has on his website issues page don’t mean anything to him. But I’m guessing there are quite a few Veterans in the 4th District who might take umbrage since the implication from his words is that the US Military is in someway being cruel.
Words Matter!
Monty on Security:
The number one job of the government is protecting our people. That means a stronger military with the ability to project force overseas. It means tighter homeland security and it means taking the war on terror to the terrorists. It means regaining control of our borders. With the right direction, we can be correct without being cruel
This is more political correctness crap which has taken over the Republican Party.

Kent needs your help with donations. Monty Lankford is a millionaire who has hired campaign help from Washington D.C. I guess since Monty doesn’t reside in the 4th District it isn’t surprising he would go outside of Tennessee for campaign help. Okay, let’s see if I’ve got this right
Lankford does not live in the 4th district.
Greenough moved to the 4th district in 2005 from California.
Strong built his home in Crossville and moved into it in 1980. Prior to that Strong lived in a Homestead house on Pigeon Ridge Road that he rented from Marlin Haston of Tennessee Farm Bureau. Strong is a Vietnam Era Veteran of the U.S. Army and works at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Strong has helped save many lives in the 4th district and has held the hand of those who have died while comforting them in their final moments. Actions speak louder than words.
Don Strong Loves and cares for the folks in his district and would be willing to take a bullet for any of them……now who do you think is best qualified to look out for their interests?

It’s funny how Kent Greenough’s supporters are saying that Monty is a millionaire, yet its is Kent Greenough who is SELF-FUNDING his own campaign, without the assistance of anyone from the district.
That’s right, neither Don Strong or Kent Green-no have been able to raise a penny from the district. And they think they can raise votes??? If they think that, they are lying to themselves.
Both Don Wrong and Green-no have begun attacking Mr. Lankford using the arguments that the libs are using against Lankford (by the way, the libs are doing so because they know Monty can beat Davis).
Furthermore, Kent Green-no’s not-so-secretive website spouts a bunch of INCORRECT information and lies about Mr. Lankford, which discredits the entire website. Perhaps, KG and his 2 or 3 supporters might want to get their facts straight first, before they just start blindly repeating the lib-arguments.

Hey Jack, just a wild guess……you live in the 7th district I take it and believe that you deserve two representatives because your from the rich side…….Oh and the poor people of the 4th can do without representation for another two years.

As far as Don Wrong is concerned…….if you are speaking of my being Politically Correct then you are right…….I’m WRONG.
If you are speaking of will I stand up for the people of the 4th district then you are out in left field because I am certainly STRONG on the 4th district and we don’t need folks like you wanting to import candidates to take care of us dumb old backward country folks………we can take of ourselves thank you very much.
Us country boys can survive pretty much on our own without a bunch of city boys interfering in our affairs.

I am 100% a middle-class American, and I’m sure you have no idea where Jack lives. It’s too bad that you’ve decided to attack the people who you’re seeking to represent.
Furthermore, I can’t believe you just called the people of this district “dumb old backward country folks”. That is dispicable.
The Republicans in Hickman County will note vote for you after last week’s terrible display of absolute vulgarity and disrespect. I was utterly embarrased, as were we all, by your attrocious speech saying that you “have a hard on for Lincoln Davis, and that he needs to be taken out behind the woodshed and shot”. We will never vote for a Congressman who doesn’t think before he or she talks.
Furthermore, you said that you’ve not only saved lives, you’ve taken a few as well. How can anyone be so callous in saying something like that? You’ve also said, several times, that you will confirm the rumors that you’re crazy. Well, I’ll tell you, the people of Hickman and its surrounding counties will not vote for a crazy person.
Frankly, you are making a mockery of our party and of this process.
