As a reluctant McCain supporter his choice of Gov Sarah Palin is very exciting for me. I really like this woman, she’s smart, conservative, pro-drilling, pro-troops, a looker and a scrapper in the political arena. I have long thought Sarah Palin would be a wonderful choice for McCain but honestly never thought he’d select her. It’s got to move McCain into the pro-ANWR drilling camp. I believed McCain would do what he normally does and that is to poke Conservatives in the eye. This sucks the air out of Obama and presents a huge challenge for Biden in any VP debate.

Brillant choice by McCain. I am a truky independent voter but McCain put it over the top for me. sarh Palin and her husband both have the superstar quality and looks to go with it.
Obama is going to loose every state and he deserves to. Worse than Nixon versus McGovern

Sarah was great tonite, but then again she’s had nearly a week to do nothing but practice and polish what McCain’s speechwriter gave her and facts are still facts:
It’s not Palin running for president…. it’s McCain.
It’s not Palin who will have the power of veto… it’s McCain.
It’s not the Vice President that calls the shots…. it’s the President.
If Palin was running for President, I just might vote for her — but she’s not.
Make no mistake about it: Palin is running on the #2 position as a consequence of Obama’s own idiotic VP pick….
